#GivingTuesday with Women Who Code & Galvanize

The Thanksgiving holiday is often associated with consumption — of turkey and other food on the day itself, and of consumer goods on Black Friday and Cyber Monday afterwards. This year, however, we decided to get in the spirit of giving.

#GivingTuesday was started in 2012 to celebrate and support giving and philanthropy. Last night, our friends at Galvanize hosted a Giving Tuesday event at their campus in Lower Manhattan (NYC) to benefit Women Who Code. We were fortunate enough to partake in the event as one of its sponsors.

Women Who Code is a global non-profit dedicated to inspiring women to excel in technology careers. They’re working to literally change the face of the tech industry by providing women with an avenue into the field and providing them with the skills needed for professional advancement. As a food tech company with a female CEO, their cause is very near and dear to our hearts.

Chef Krystyna prepared an amazing menu of small bites for attendees of last night’s event. If you like what you see in the photos below, check out our Eat In Co. division and book us for one of your special events!

Thanks again to Galvanize and Women Who Code for having us as one of their event sponsors.¬†And even though #GivingTuesday has come and gone, it’s never too late to give back!
